The program has been created as general program for surveillance hybrid platforms functioning concurrently with wireless and wired IP cameras, TV-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the identical appearance and controls on the local and apart pcs. Users view MPEG coded picture and have complete control of the program using network that security pc can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular structure significantly increases reliability because all units work as independent software. If one part stops working, other parts go on running. For instance if the `record` component fails, `watchdog` starts over it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video via a `playback` part. The software performs `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by movement, human face detection, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on apart server via Web interface. The program performs simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras concurrently. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
