The program has been designed as common application for security cross platforms functioning all together with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the equal look and functionality on the local and apart workstations. Customers watch MPEG coded video and have full control of the software via network that security server can be run without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular configuration considerably increases reliability because all parts work as autonomous programs. If one part stops working, other components go on running. For instance if the `capture` module fails, `watchdog` restarts it right away that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing video using a `playback` unit. The program makes `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by activity, human face detection, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on remote station through Web interface. The software performs simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many webcams simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
