It has web interface with the similar appearance and functionality on the local and remote pcs. Users see MPEG-4 coded video and have complete control of the program through net that security station can be run with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular structure significantly increases reliability because all components act as autonomous applications. If one part freezes, other parts keep on running. For example if the `capture` unit stops working, `watchdog` restarts it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing video through a `playback` component. The program performs `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by activity, human face detection, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on remote workstation via Web interface.
