The program has been created as general software for security cross platforms working all together with wireless and wired IP webcams, TV-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the same form and controls on the local and remote workstations. Customers view MPEG coded video and have complete control of the software through net that surveillance workstation can be run without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular composition significantly increases reliability because all units work as independent software. If one component fails, other modules keep on working. For example if the `record` component fails, `watchdog` starts again it instantly that users don`t notice anything because they are watching picture through a `playback` component. The program performs `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be turned on by activity, human face recognition, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on distant server via Web interface. The software does synchronized video playback for event examination from many webcams at the same time. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
