The software has been created as general application for security cross platforms running at the same time with wireless and wired Internet webcams, Television-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the same look and functionality on the local and remote pcs. Customers see MPEG coded video and have full management of the program using net that surveillance station can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular configuration significantly improves reliability because all units operate as independent software. If one component stops working, other parts continue running. For example if the `capture` unit freezes, `watchdog` restarts it instantly that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing video via a `playback` part. The program does `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be initiated by motion, human face recognition, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on apart server using Web interface. The program performs synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple cameras at the same time. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected.
