The software has been created as general program for surveillance cross platforms running concurrently with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal look and functionality on the local and remote workstations. Customers see MPEG coded picture and have complete management of the software via net that surveillance station can be run with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular structure significantly improves reliability because all components proceed as autonomous applications. If one part fails, other modules keep on running. For example if the `record` unit freezes, `watchdog` starts again it instantly that users don`t notice anything because they are watching picture through a `playback` component. The software makes `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by activity, human face detection, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on distant server using Web interface. The software does synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple cameras at the same time. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
