The software has been designed as general application for surveillance hybrid platforms working at the same time with wireless and wired Internet cameras, TV-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal appearance and controls on the local and remote pcs. Customers watch MPEG coded video and have full management of the program using net that surveillance station can be run with no screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular composition drastically increases reliability because all modules operate as independent applications. If one module fails, other units go on working. For example if the `record` component stops working, `watchdog` starts over it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video using a `playback` component. The program does `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by movement, human face recognition, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance station as well as on distant workstation through Web interface. The program makes simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras at the same time. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
