The program has been designed as common program for surveillance hybrid platforms working simultaneously with wireless and wired IP cameras, Television-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the same form and functionality on the local and remote workstations. Customers view MPEG coded video and have full management of the software through network that surveillance pc can be operated with no screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular structure extensively improves reliability because all components act as autonomous software. If one part stops working, other modules continue working. For example if the `record` component stops working, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing video via a `playback` part. The program performs `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be triggered by motion, human face recognition, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on distant workstation through Web interface. The software performs simultaneous video playback for event examination from multiple cameras at the same time. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
