The program has been designed as universal product for surveillance cross platforms working simultaneously with wireless and wired Internet cameras, Television-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal appearance and functionality on the local and distant workstations. Users watch MPEG-4 coded video and have full control of the program via network that security workstation can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular structure extensively improves reliability because all parts operate as independent applications. If one module freezes, other components keep on working. For example if the `record` component stops working, `watchdog` starts again it instantly that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing video via a `playback` component. The program performs `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be initiated by movement, human face detection, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on distant workstation via Web interface. The program does synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple cameras simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
