10 JUL 2026 - Back up to full speed! Let's be honest: for the last few months, TorrentFunk was painfully slow. Pages crawled, searches dragged, and just loading the site tested everyone's patience. We hunted the problem down to our network and rebuilt it from the ground up — smarter caching, a much bigger and faster connection, and a lot of fine-tuning under the hood. The difference is night and day: the site now loads in a fraction of a second. No more waiting around. Thanks for sticking with us through the slow spell. Now go discover your funk!
Sokath 0.4.8 is developed as a simple but enhanced tool that helps with mitigating the negative effects of the Hubbert Peak. It has to become a real-time decision/knowledge based system that can use mathematical methodologies and models to model the future. Many have noticed that oil prices have risen sharply in the past years. The prices are becoming so high that it will be less bearable for the economy. Unfornately, the gas prices have risen as well due to the fact that gasoline is derived from oil through a process known as cracking. These prices will become higher in the near future due to the phenomenon known as the Hubbert Peak in global oil production (also known as Peak Oil). The consequences of the Hubbert Peak can be quite uncomfortable, because there exists no known "quick silver bullet" solution that can be scaled up very quickly so that it can compensate the decrease in oil production. In order to make the consequences more comfortable I'm trying to provide a software solution that can monitor and analyse the production of oil (and possibly other Fossil Fuels). The software solution weares the name Sokath. Sokath has to become a realtime decision based software system that can act as a software solution for the mitigation of the negative consequences of the Hubbert Peak. Right now, it is a simple tool that can be used to make a prediction about the gasoline prices and the oil prices using differences in demand and supply, and a future production base.Enhancements:The formula for the upper gasoline prices estimation with changing non-oil expenditures (i.e. the upper "blue line") has been modified. The percentage of the oil price that accounts for the highest estimated gasoline prices has been raised from 30 % to 45 %. This results in a lower estimation for the prices.Added new Hubbert Curves for Australia, Azerbaijan and Cameroon
