DESCRIPTION

Chris is young idealistic cop who falls in love and gets married to Pam, a beautiful but emotionally unstable woman who suffers from alcoholism and drug addiction. While Chris is trying hard to have a normal life and some money, Pam is big spender and their marriage is constantly troublesome with the financial situation getting worse and worse. The biggest blow comes after Chris loses his job. In the desperate situation Chris decides to use his police skills to rob banks.

В основе фильма лежат реальные события. Полицейский Крис Андерсон (Перри) влюбился в сумасшедшую красотку Пэм (Эшли), наделенную большим букетом странностей. Они поженились, хотя на его месте нормальный мужик нашел бы о чем подумать уже во время ухаживания. Счастливой семейной жизни, как и следовало ожидать, не получилось. Не умеющая "кончать" с мужчиной, Пэм, оказавшаяся ко всему прочему еще и наркоманкой, тратила деньги направо и налево. И вот Крис уже грабит первый банк, а, если учесть тот факт, что в самом начале фильма их обоих, грабящих банк уже вместе, арестовывает ФБР, то и закономерность конца прослеживается без труда.
