DESCRIPTION
A saga of African-American life, based on Alex Haley's family history. Kunta Kinte is abducted from his African village, sold into slavery, and taken to America. He makes several escape attempts until he is finally caught and maimed. He marries Bell, his plantation's cook, and they have a daughter, Kizzy, who is eventually sold away from them. Kizzy has a son by her new master, and the boy grows up to become Chicken George. He's a legendary cock fighter who leads his family into freedom. Throughout the series, the family observes notable events in U.S. history, such as the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, slave uprisings, and emancipation.

This Television Mini-Series is an Absolute Masterpiece, a real MUST WATCH for everyone alive today. It's simple, if you have not watched it yourself then you MUST watch it because when you do you WILL come out a changed better person.
Many years ago I was looking for this online and could not find it, so I bought the Full DVD Box Set that had about 20 DVDs and encoded them myself and uploaded them on another Torrent website which had shut down.
I have now freshly re-encoded the entire Roots Saga and named and ordered them correctly as my OCD needs it to be. These are encoded at 480p since they are from DVD with 10-bit x265 HEVC. I have included the English subtitles if you like to turn them on (they are not on by default).
