In the 13th century, devil worshipping templars are blinded and executed by the local villagers for practicing human sacrifice, but swear revenge. In the present, a village festival celebrates the defeat of the templars, but the village idiot has plans of his own, sacrificing a young woman and spilling her blood on the templars' tombs, which awakens the skeletal blind corpses, and they go on a rampage, starting with whoever happens to be having sex, but soon escalating to just anyone in town. People try to warn the authorities, but everyone assumes everyone else is drunk and ignores them, so things go sideways pretty quickly, leaving a group of survivors barricaded in a church to fend for themselves.
This is a slightly fuzzy and dull remaster, but it's quite watchable. Sadly, there's only the English dub, and no commentary track or anything, but the best parts of this film have no dialogue anyway, except for maybe the screaming.
