Demuxed the videostream using makemkv latest, rest done with eac3to.
Lets get started with the audio, as usual KL being KL the audio is absolute Pepega, well tbf all the 2.0 BD audio are garbage and compressed, this was very disappointing at start but I gotta bad habit of checking dvds and others sources for audio etc, so that lead me to an awesome find.
KL/RCV / Eureka etc.. Have all compressed 2.0, this would be very wrong to say that they are the true monaural audio / even if they are it is compressed and tin can version of the audio. Several parts of the audio, including score are compressed, The movie was released in mono, the true mono lies within the NTSC DVD. Okay now coming to the DVD, after a bit of research: Show found out that there are 3 remixes for this movie, not sure why, but what ever.. Big brain moment unlocked.
Anyways, the NTSC has Dolby stereo audio as well as the OG mono, the mono sounds too anemic where as the Dolby stereo has enhanced sound effects added to it which also present a good viewing experience. The 3rd remix would be the surround remix (upmix / if it would be considered a remix) for those who prefer it on a 5.1 which on this Remux is taken from Eureka. You do not have to go with "trust me bro" kinda stuff - here are some graphs and samples for you to taste test before you dine in - https://slow.pics/c/y3V191Wp || samples - https://mega.nz/file/ZFgxkJZR#BooeoyDhtAZv-nnOf33wUEFOwzvtKYxJSkUfrOCmzWw.
Oh btw the audios are synced with keepdialnorm and in its original state, intact (No transcoding were performed) , so you get the og stuff
Subtitles are synced from the sources mentioned above / tonemapped. Additional Filler SRTs from WEB (ty vevv)|| Lionsgate BD and the UHD are not frame accurate so the English regular + es-419 are synced manually. Optionally OCR'd English sub with fix common errors and spell check.
Chapter names from NTSC DVD positioned to the nearest i-frames / scene changes.
