Con sua grande sorpresa, la donna trova un affare molto interessante in un edificio fatiscente nel centro di Madrid: si tratta di un appartamento di lusso completamente arredato, un vero e proprio gioiello.Tra una visita e l'altra, Julia scopre che l'anziano signore che abitava al piano di sopra è morto: la casa è un tugurio, ma curiosando qua e là scopre una grossa somma di denaro, una vincita al totocalcio di 300 milioni di pesetas. La donna decide di tenere per sé il bottino e pensando di essere l'unica a sapere dell'esistenza di quei soldi, li nasconde e programma di tornare in un altro momento. In realtà tutti i condomini del palazzo sanno della fortuna e decidono di fare guerra a Julia, dando vita a una battaglia molto agguerrita e scorretta…
