Do you like old school deathmatch with modern features? How about rich, colorful, arcadelike atmospheres? How about...retro Sci Fi? Then you're going to love what Alien Arena has in store for you! This game combines some of the very best aspects of such games as Quake III and Unreal Tournament and wraps them up with a retro alien theme, while adding tons of original ideas to make the game quite unique.
Alien Arena is a furious frag fest with arenas ranging from the small, to the massive. With a large built-in player base, it's never hard to find a good match going on, at any hour of the day. The community is friendly, as well as prolific. Dozens of maps, models, and various accessories have been created by community members to add on to the game experience. The CRX engine that powers Alien Arena has received very signifigant upgrades in recent releases, resulting
not only in stunning new visuals, but vastly increased performance as well.
Installation:
Mount the .dmg
Drag and drop the Alien Arena folder to your preferred gaming folder
Double click the main app to launch the game
If you experience any errors you can:
Press down on the alt / option button and double click the app
This will launch the Wineskin interface
Click on the Advanced > Tools tabs
Choose Test Run (Debug Mode) to produce error logs after the app has attempted to launch
Post the logs at ~ Not Allowed ~ and/or go to the Porting Team for support
Post the pastebin links in the help section

Personal Notes:
This was slated for a native Mac release but so far the developers have remained focused on Windows and Linux and there is still no date set for the native Mac version of this free online arena shooter. I decided to put this Wineskin wrapper together to support this great game. Anyone that enjoys online play for the play factor of it should really grab this game.
The folder on the .dmg contains 1 main application which contains all the files and launches the main online game. The remainder of the apps are simple launchers that run executables from within the main app. All of the apps (main and launcher apps) must remain in the same folder in order to work correctly.
