The Virginian is a nice classic American western that was broadcast 1962-1971. The episodes are about 1 hr 15 min (without ads) so each is like a short movie. Character and personality are important elements, making the series more likeable than strictly action series. I particularly like the authentic sets and scenes that show some of the mechanics of late 19th-century life, like the water pumps in the kitchens, lamps, barns, and wagons. Some episodes feature a lot of horse stuff.
There is a lot of variety in the episodes. The settings range from southern Canada to Cuba, and from San Francisco to St. Louis. The subjects also vary a lot, and are sometimes quite interesting. The last season (renamed) kind of sucks.
I don't remember what torrents I got these from, but I transcoded them into HEVC/x265 so they are 1/3 the size of before. The quality is indistinguishable. The first few seasons were noisy, and I applied a denoise filter so they actually look better than the originals. Don't expect modern video quality, but I'll bet it looks pretty much like it did broadcast back in the day. I also corrected a bunch of mislabeled episodes and some of the descriptions (episode images and nfo files are included).
I dedicate this upload to the star, James Drury, who died earlier this year.
Please reseed! I can't do it all myself! There are 249 long episodes, so this is a big upload
