DESCRIPTION
Monkey is the story by Wu Ch'êng-ên based on the ancient Chinese legend tracing the origins of Buddhism. It follows the adventures of Tripitaka and disciples Pigsy, Sandy and of course Monkey, on their journey from China to India to fetch the large vehicle holy scriptures which will save the world.
Synopsis by IMDB When Monkey TV series aired in 1978/1979, many years later 13 episodes were discovered that were previously un-dubbed. These were re-dubbed using as many as the UK original dubbing cast as possible in 2004.
Also included are two specials - Monkey Nuts (how the re-dubbing was done), and a BBC UK Special on the discovery of the lost 13 episodes.
I have also included some mp3's from the original programme, and one single release from Godiego, a Japanese band who recorded the soundtrack.
