Up-and-comer Bankrol Hayden delivered his debut project, "Pain is Temporary," with features from Lil Baby, Polo G, The Kid LAROI, and Luh Kel.
Bankrol Hayden is further solidifying himself as one of the next artists to blow up with his debut project, Pain Is Temporary. The 18-year-old up-and-comer managed to secure a handful of impressive features for his debut effort, including a verse from Lil Baby on "Drop A Tear." He also tapped Polo G for "Whatchu On Today," and Luh Kel for one of the project's lead singles, "Brothers." Hayden linked up with his frequent collaborator and fellow youngster, The Kid LAROI, for the remix of his song, "Costa Rica," as well, both of which appear on the project.
The cover art for this album, which shows Hayden laying in a hospital bed looking less than thrilled to be there while two nurses check his heartbeat and oxygen levels, appears to be alluding to the three weeks Hayden spent in the hospital after a near fatal car accident. He raps about this horrific experience on his breakout single, "29," and there are traces of the trauma he suffered as a result all throughout his new project. However, as the title indicates, pain is only temporary, and we're glad Hayden is able to use his music to heal. Check out Pain Is Temporary and let us know what you think.
