Just one of the many trucks and cars who come to life in the town of Friendlyville, Finley lives at Fire Station #5 with Captain Parker, the Grandfather of all fire engines, Scout the Firehouse Dog, Polly the Stationhouse Pole, and the alarming Mr. Bell. Also dedicated to serving the community in their own unique ways are Gorby the Garbage Truck, Miguel the Mail Truck, Scooty the School Bus, DJ the Bulldozer, Jesse the Tow Truck, Isabelle the Ice Cream Truck, and Dexter the Dump Truck. Stressing simple, visually captivating storytelling that entertains, and nurtures the imagination and the senses, Finley the Fire Engine covers such developmental themes as being kind, responsible, and truthful, how to build self-esteem, and the joy of discovering the benefits of sharing and being a good friend.
