AMPHIOTIK ENHANCER LT [Media Player] is a useful and complex media player utility. The Lite edition, you can place the channels of your tracks in pre-built 3D Virtual Auditory Environments (presets), and experience a complete immersion. Technology AMPHIOTIK TECHNOLOGY AMPHIOTIK ENHANCER on AMPHIOTIK TECHNOLOGY, which in turn is based on Binaural Technology. Binaural processing is derived on HRTFs technique, a widely used method from the knowledge of the perception of sounds by humans. Virtual Auditory Environment Presets: Virtual Worlds & Sound Field Models (SFM) The virtual environment is represented by means of 3D Graphics.SFM is simulated by the means of Image Source Method (ISM) for the early reflections, in combination with reverberation algorithms for the simulation of the late part. Virtual sound sources (VSS) There are two virtual sound sources, the left and right channels of stereo input are connected. Positioning - 3D/2D View Arbitrary positioning of virtual sound sources (distance, azimuth and elevation) and virtual audience. This is easily performed by the 3D/2D display. Processing Listening over headphones When listening through headphones, the sound image is externalized out of the actual head. Listening through speakers: Transaural-Audio (Cross-Talk Cancellation system) When listening over loudspeakers, standard stereo makes the sound come between the two speakers in front of the audience. Transaural-Audio extends the sound field on the separation of the loudspeakers and the sound surrounds the listener. Arbitrary positioning of the loudspeakers is allowed in the horizontal plane. Post equalization Programmable low and high frequency filters allow to set the desired "shape" the sound. Gain Control The overall gain can be set automatically by the Automatic Gain Control (AGC).
