Between Two Worlds Torrent Results

Caught Between Two Worlds is a documentary that depicts the diverse lives of Iranian people in the US that make up a nation in exile. It shows the complexities of the Iranian experience in the U.S. and focuses on the those who live in Los Angeles, New York and Washington DC. They mainly left Iran after the Revolution in 1979, after the departure of the Shah and the start of the Islamic Republic. Short interviews with artists, political activists, journalists, academics, Moslem and Jewish Iranian-Americans, young and old, gives us a picture of the diversity of this community. Despite the seriousness of many issues, the topics are also handled with humor, because among the characters is a comedian, an artist with a keen sense of humor and a hip-hop poet.
