DESCRIPTION
Writer Nick Castle (Nathan Fillion) couldn't write a better character
himself -- he's Mick Jagger meets James Bond, and has the fame and
fans to match. However, Nick has grown weary of it all, leading him to kill
off the legendary character who has been the basis of the millions of
books he has sold.
When a copycat murderer begins to kill people in manners and scenes
straight out of his novels, NYPD Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic)
goes to Nick for help. But their personalities don't mesh -- Nick's fly-by
the-seat-of-his-pants detective style greatly clashes with Beckett's more
conservative and methodical approach to the crimes, but the new life
that Nick Castle has begun couldn't have been scripted better himself.
